Electronic Counter Measures
or De-bugging

As organisations strive to remain one step ahead of their competitors, sensitive information continues to be a hot and very saleable commodity.

Advance knowledge of new product developments, corporate intelligence or property deals can translate into fortunes lost and gained. So it's important to know that private business conversations are not being overheard.

Yet kitted out with today's ultra-sensitive eavesdropping and microchip camera equipment, walls really can have ears and eyes. Our electronic sweeps have detected radio transmitters concealed in picture frames and light fittings, taped to plants, and wired into telephone extensions.

On one occasion, our clients couldn't figure out how details of their various business strategies were clearly finding a wider audience.

By holding their most confidential conversations in a walled garden, they thought security would not be an issue. How wrong they were!   Over time, it became clear the competition was well and truly in the strategy loop.

So our electronic surveillance specialists swept the garden for hidden bugging devices. Knowing how adaptable some of the latest gizmos can be, our investigators weren't at all surprised to find not just a microphone but also a small camera hidden in the rocks around the central fountain.

On dismantling the devices, we recommended running regular sweeps of the courtyard so that our clients could be absolutely sure their discussions remained totally confidential.
